Os munic\u00edpios escolhidos para a a\u00e7\u00e3o foram os que, no ano passado, sofreram as maiores consequ\u00eancias da intensidade das chuvas. S\u00e3o eles: Barreiros, Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Camaragibe, Goiana, Jaboat\u00e3o dos Guararapes, Macaparana, Moreno, Nazar\u00e9 da Mata, Olinda, Palmares, Paudalho, Paulista, Recife, S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 da Coroa Grande, S\u00e3o Vicente F\u00e9rrer e Timba\u00faba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O objetivo do pacote \u00e9 entender quais a\u00e7\u00f5es est\u00e3o sendo tomadas pelos poderes p\u00fablicos municipais para prevenir as consequ\u00eancias de poss\u00edveis chuvas fortes, considerando a previs\u00e3o de chuvas ainda mais intensas para 2023. As prefeituras foram perguntadas \u00e0 respeito da exist\u00eancia ou n\u00e3o de defesa civil, meios de contato do p\u00fablico, mapeamento de zonas de risco, exist\u00eancia ou n\u00e3o de plano de preven\u00e7\u00e3o de desastres naturais, entre outras quest\u00f5es.<br>A deputada reafirma que a\u00e7\u00f5es como essas precisam ser planejadas com anteced\u00eancia, para que a popula\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o sofra as consequ\u00eancias das chuvas. \u201cTodos os anos vemos as pessoas residentes em \u00e1reas de risco sendo penalizadas. E essas pessoas s\u00e3o, em sua maioria, pobres e pretas. Esse fen\u00f4meno se chama racismo ambiental e n\u00f3s n\u00e3o podemos normaliz\u00e1-lo.
